COD Extinction Exodus - Fight the Ancestors BOSS

The last chapter in the Extinction series will be called Exodus and it comes as part of the Nemesis DLC 4 for COD Ghosts. Exodus features all of the alien species we've seen in previous Extinction maps together with the final boss alien - The Ancestors. These huge 'human like' aliens are the only thing stopping you completing the final Extinction map and rescuing Dr Cross.

The Ancestors have a range of attacks including mind control and psionic abilities. Just like the previous bosses; the Kraken and the Breeder; players require good team work and co-ordination to beat the Ancestors.

Infinity Ward claim that Exodus is the biggest Extinction map so far, with the option to choose your path right from the start. There will be bigger weapons and many more confrontations as you make your way through the abandoned streets.

New craftable weapons will be included but there were no clues in the trailer what they might be.

Following the CIF Unit's harrowing escape from the alien underworld and the successful recovery of Dr. Cross and the cortex, the team has flown in to fight off the Cryptid army's siege of the last bastion of human resistance. Your mission is to get key personnel to safety by restoring power to the shuttle and launching the shuttle to a low earth orbit space station. "Episode 4: Exodus" gives players unprecedented control of their escape route - choose your path, gather new intel, craft new weapons - and introduces the deadliest of enemies with a range of lethal powers, including mind control and psionic attacks - the Ancestors. As the battle for our survival draws to a close, the fate of mankind is in your hands.

Exodus will be Infinity Wards final farewell in the COD Extinction series and judging by the response to Ghosts I don't think we'll be seeing any Extinction maps in the future. So enjoy playing the final DLC and say goodbye to IW and Extinction…and hello Advanced Warfare!

Multiplayer Maps

In addition to the Extinction map there are 4 multiplayer maps included in Nemesis DLC, in particular the Showtime map is a remake of Shipment from COD 4 (Modern Warfare). Thumbs up for that one!
