Fortnite - All Terrain Kart (ATK) added in Season 5

With the much anticipated start of Season 5, Epic Games have introduced the first vehicle known as the "All Terrain Kart (ATK)". This is certainly a step up from the Shopping Trolley from the previous season.

Players will be pleased to know that the All Terrain Kart can be used with up to four players, offering your team a collective way to explore the terrain and hunt down enemies.

Appearing much like a cross between a Quad Bike and a Golf Cart, the new vehicle is capable of drifting for an increased speed boost and also provides a bounce pad thanks to it's durable roof.



It has a traditional golfing trolley rooftop, complete with colorful flag on the rear. The wheels are certainly designed for more than a golf course thanks to their rugged bumps. The rear cage is also sturdy enough to protect your teammates during the harsh terrain, high speeds and unpredictable jumps.

It's not all down to the driver with the ATK, even the rear passengers play a part. By leaning back (S on keyboard or thumbstick on controller) and releasing at the same time as the driver and the kart will jump even higher.

In addition to the fantastic kart, Epic Games have really twisted the entire landscape with Season 5. Players can now enjoy the Desert Biome, a new Paradise Palms location and another called Lazy Links.

Substantial changes have been made to the games mechanics, far too many to list here but of more interest is the change to challenges. Players will enjoy knowing that progressive challenges now carry over to subsequent seasons. So at the end of Season 5 you won't need to panic as Season 6 approaches and challenges switch over.
