Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer Gameplay Trailer

The multiplayer gameplay trailer for Modern Warfare 3 has arrived and surprisingly it only contains about 10 seconds of actual gameplay. The rest of the video is made up of cut scenes and cinematic sequences.

The video was first aired at the Call of Duty XP event in LA in front of thousands of COD fans. Call of Duty XP is the exhibition event where people get early access to the Modern Warfare 3 game before its release in November. The event also hosts life like recreations of infamous MW2 maps including Burger Town, The Pit and Scrap Yard.

Why no gameplay footage?

The lack of gameplay footage may be a tactful move to avoid any direct comparisons to the eagerly awaited Battlefield 3 game. The BF3 team are constantly pumping out visuals from their new Frostbite engine and they do look impressive. Sadly for MW3 fans, there was nothing new to see from the video – it's just another teaser.
