MW3 DLC Release Date Jan 24, 2012

The new Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) DLC will be coming to Xbox on Jan 24, 2012. Those with the Elite edition of the game will be the first to download the DLC (downloadable content).

The DLC for MW3 contains

• New multiplayer maps
• More Spec Ops missions

Robert Bowling (the creative strategist for Infinity Ward) stated that MW3 DLC would be different from other Call of Duty DLC. By this he is referencing the fact that DLC for Modern Warfare 3 will not just come with new maps, there will be new Spec Ops missions too.

The Spec Ops missions in the game haven proven to be quite a success, especially for those who choose to play at home with friends rather than going online.

Which new maps come with the DLC?

So far, there has been no speculation on which new maps will come with the DLC but as soon as we hear, we'll keep you informed.
