Black Ops 2 multiplayer trailer proves MW3 is dead

The new Black Ops 2 multiplayer trailer has just been released and boy does it look good. Even the COD haters are starting to agree that Black Ops 2 looks a great game, much better than MW3! It's not just another re-skin this time around as you can see from the gameplay trailer.

If you've missed out on the Black Ops 2 news so far, then you'll probably be surprised by the futuristic look of the next COD instalment. New maps, weapons and killstreaks move COD into future warfare. But that's not a bad thing judging by the trailer. The maps look highly detailed but yet it's fast paced and promotes raw combat.

Trailer breakdown and things we spotted

Best looking graphics for any COD game to date
Players now equip the knife before use, no more panic/reflex knifing
Not much recoil on the weapons
Environments appear to have depth and creative design - bridges, vantage points etc.
Killstreaks seem to play a big part in gameplay (but maybe it's just the trailer showing them off too much)
Electric stun device (behaves like stun grenade)
Placeable jammer/energy wave turret for disorienting the enemy
Riot shields that you can place and still shoot through
Controllable mech killstreak - looks like ED209 from Robocop (probably goes down stairs though!)
Throwing axe side arm (similar to Tomahawk)
Suicide plane (UAV) killstreak
Care packages (crate drops)
