Black Ops 2 Release in 2012?

Activision have just bought the blackops2.com domain name, fuelling speculation that a sequel to the 2010 smash hit will be out in 2012. If you remember, Treyarch were responsible for the original Black Ops game and they'll probably be making the sequel too.

After the disappointment of Modern Warfare 3 and its uninventive and very laggy online gameplay, COD fans are hoping that Treyarch can bring COD back to the good times. More Zombies, less Spec Ops and forget the Strike Packages!

Just a note of caution though, Activision have bought all of the callofdutyX.com domains up to callofduty6.com. Could this just be another domain name to stop people impersonating a trade name?
